Crystal Enlightenment- Book

Today I would like to talk about 

the book I read back in the fall

of 1990 called Crystal Enlightenment 

by Katrina Raphaell.

今日は、1990年秋に読んだ

カトリーナ･ラファエルの

クリスタルエンライトメントという

本を御紹介します。

I was living in the UK 

at the time and had just 

discovered crystals.

当時は、イギリスに住んでおり

ジェムストーンに出会った時

でした。

This book for me was the starting point,

a bible that explains the metaphysical 

properties of crystals in simple language. 

この本は、原点というか聖書というか

クリスタルのメタフィジカルな

効果や働きについてよく

簡単に、よく説明しています。

Note that this was before 

the power stone boom 

happened in Japan. 

日本でパワーストーンブームが

来る前ですよね。

I also found out that 

we have a Japanese version 

available in the market! 

そしたら、なんと日本語版が

あるではありませんか。

It is a serious book with no 

pictures or fancy illustrations. 

It is for people who are genuinely 

interested in the magic of crystals. 

画像とか、綺麗なイラストとか

入っているようなフワフワした本ではなく、

純粋にクリスタルのマジックを

取り入れたい人向けの

きちんとした本です。

Still, it is interested that the publisher 

decided to target female readers 

by painting the cover all pink. 

日本で、女性をターゲットにして

売ろうということなのか、

カバーがしっかりピンクに

なってます。

I am thinking of using 

this book as a reference 

in my future workshops!
